TULSA, OK -- Melton Truck Lines, a premier air-ride flatbed carrier based in Tulsa, OK, was recently named a recipient of Logistics Management magazine’s Quest for Quality Award for the fourth consecutive year. The award is presented to companies in the logistics and transportation industry based on their outstanding customer service and operational performance.

The 2008 Quest for Quality award winners were selected from the results of over 6,000 survey responses submitted by qualified buyers of transportation and logistics services. The survey participants ranked the performance, value, information technology, customer service, equipment and operations of hundreds of transportation companies. Each transportation provider was required to receive a certain number of votes to qualify for the award. Melton was ranked number one in Information Technology in the Industrial & Heavy-Haul Carriers category.
